  • Disconnect the device from the base and remove all cables from the base

  • Power off the device(#99, then 'Yes')

  • Reconnect all cables on the base, ensuring the USB or Serial Cable is plugged into

    the same port it was removed from
  • Place the device on the base, it will power up

  • Device will now reconnect to the base, via Bluetooth pairing. Then it will

    automatically reconnect to the POS. Once reconnected, the device will connect to

    the bank and then display < READY > on the screen. If any of this fails, the query

    would need to be escalated to L2 support, as the issue likely leads to setup within

    the PC-EFTPOS client, or the VX690 driver on the PC where the

    PC-EFTPOS client resides
